In the Highlands of Zimbabwe

There's a mountain full of forests and on the top of the mountain the house this man takes care of with his family.
We were in the house for the weeks of our stay. When we were not at work down in the town, I was taking pictures of the beautiful landscape, the flowers, the birds in the garden or on the red ground road going down the mountain...
The day before we left, he was looking disappointed and reproached me, that I didn't take him in picture. I said it wasn't a problem, I didn't know he wanted. So he ran to put a necktie and came back in the garden for this portrait.

Hi :wave:

So I'm back from my trip.
8400km in our car from Finland to the french Brittany with a very short stay by my friend ~Kahouane in Normandy and from there to Nice and then Arles in the south of France before we drive back home... and we're all still alive.

I've a lot of messages to answer to, journals to read deviations to watch... I may miss things.


I've a lot of pictures to process, digital, pinholes and with the Mamiya, there will be beaches, mountains, places, blur, black and white and colors.

But I already think about the pictures I want to take by our lake as this is the place which makes me feel the most, by the water, in the wind, in a finnish summer night... and feel like being back home beyond time.
