We all have heard about what is happening in Western Africa. I feel sick about it. There are medical people going there to help those nations to stop the epidemy from spreading any farer and stop it all. I've heard people managed to stop it in Nigeria. Those medical associations are needing volunteers and funds. Those are the Red Cross, Médecins sans frontiers and many others.
In the past with a group of artists on deviant ART, we have created small books, for gathering some funds to associations.
I would like here too a book with our images, texts, for the people of Western Africa, for the medical associations working in the middle of the epidemy, to save lives, to save us all.
Please, let's create something together.
I would like you to spread the word.[EDITED]
You have been a lot to answer to my journal, I thank you very much
. Many of you have shared this journal, it has gone to facebook too... I hope you will keep on on spreading the word. We need a lot of artists and works on this.
We now have a group to help us with this project, so that we can propose works for this book to one of its gallery
You can suggest your own work to this gallery, as a favorite:
The deadline is 7 November 2014
You can propose your work until this date.
You don't need to be a member of the group for proposing a work and it doesn't need to be an abstract one. We would just ask you to put the group on your watch list so that you can follow news about the project.
By submitting you works, please remember that high resolution files (2000x2000pixels at 300ppi should be enough) will be asked if the work is selected.
Some of the fantastic works that have been proposed:
I didn't mention it before, shame on me for this, but we are three working on this book so don't be surprised if these ladies ask you things:[/EDITED]
We'll then create a book with the works we consider the best ones. We'll put the book on sale on the internet and 100% of the incomes from this book will go to one of the medical associations involved in stopping the epidemy.
Thank you.#ebola #againstebola
